Finding decks you could already build

Where the decks come from

Every deck is an official preconstructed product: Commander decks, starter decks, planeswalker decks and the rest, some thousands of them going back years.

• Each result says which product it is and when it came out, and links through to the set on Scryfall, so you can go and read about a deck rather than taking a list on trust.
• Precons are a better answer to "what could I build" than they get credit for. They are designed to work as a whole, they are the decks most people already own pieces of, and nobody has to have played one in a tournament for it to be worth an evening.

Narrowing it to something you want

• Theme. Chips like Goblins, Graveyard or Tokens, worked out by counting the cards in each list rather than taken from anybody's official archetype name. Click one to see only those.
• Max cost to finish. The most useful filter here. Show only decks you could complete for twenty pounds and the list stops being aspirational.
• Colours, matched as "these and more", "exactly these", or "any of these".
• Card text, so you can look for decks running a particular effect.

Sorting by what you actually care about

The default is how much of the deck you own, which answers "what could I build tonight". The others answer different questions:

• Most recent puts the newest products first, which is usually where the cards you have opened lately are.
• Cheapest to finish is the shopping question, and skips decks you already own outright rather than filling the top with them.

From a result to a deck

• Open a result to see every card marked owned or missing.
• Create the deck from it in one step. It arrives as a wish deck, so the cards you do not own are listed and badged rather than silently dropped.
• Send the missing cards to a wishlist to price the gap.

Bringing your own list

Paste any deck list, or give it an Archidekt or Cubecobra link, and it will be scored against your collection the same way. Moxfield blocks other sites from fetching decks, so paste the exported text for those.

What it cannot tell you

It knows what is in each product and how much of it you own. It does not know whether a deck suits how you like to play, whether it holds up against what your playgroup brings, or whether the four cards you are missing are the four that make it work. Being ninety percent of the way to a deck is a starting point for a decision, not the decision.

It also only knows about official products. Somebody's brew from a forum is not in here, but you can paste it in and have it scored the same way.
