About Wizbook

Wizbook is a free, local-first Magic: The Gathering collection manager. It runs entirely on your machine — there are no user accounts, no cloud storage, and no data ever leaves your computer.

We built Wizbook because managing a card collection shouldn't require a spreadsheet, an account, or trusting a third party with your data. Your collection is yours — full stop.

We also understand that collectors don't just collect. They trade, they sell, and they move between platforms. That's why Wizbook supports importing from TCGPlayer, Deckbox.org, ManaBox, Moxfield, and Archidekt — and exporting to TCGPlayer, Deckbox.org, and ManaBox — so your collection can move wherever you need it.

Card Data & Image Attribution

All card data and card images displayed in Wizbook are sourced from Scryfall via their publicly available API. Wizbook is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Scryfall.

Card data is downloaded from Scryfall on first launch and cached for the duration of your session. Card images are fetched on demand and also cached locally for the session only — all cached data is cleared when the session ends.

Privacy & Data Retention

Wizbook collects zero personal data. There are no analytics, no crash reporting, no telemetry, and no background network calls of any kind — except to Scryfall to download card data and card images on request.

Your collection files are saved wherever you choose on your device. During a session, Wizbook keeps a temporary working copy — when you save, the file is downloaded or written back to the location you opened it from. Nothing is ever transmitted to a remote server. We will never take your data. Ever.

Terms of Use

• Wizbook is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use.
• Wizbook is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Use it at your own risk.
• The developer is not liable for any loss of collection data. Back up your collection regularly using Export → Wizbook JSON and store the file somewhere safe.
• Wizbook does not facilitate card sales directly and is not a commercial reseller of Magic: The Gathering products.
• You are solely responsible for complying with the terms of service of any third-party platform (TCGPlayer, Deckbox.org, ManaBox, etc.) when using files exported from Wizbook.
• Wizbook may not be used to reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any card art, card text, or other intellectual property owned by Wizards of the Coast or Scryfall.
